Cardigan ruché mousse metal rose, jupe ruché (beehive mousse metal pink cardigan and skirt).

I started with some assistant jobs in photo studios and worked for different photographers for some years to be sure that was what I wanted: to be a photographer.

In 1993 I decided to do my first travel photography. I convinced a German publisher to let me make a book about Mongolia. I prepared the trip for some months, met people, studied the country and went. It was my first experience as a travel-photographer. I learned a lot about the reality of photography and about myself.

The book went very well. Other book jobs followed. Russia, Siberia (working in winter - 50 C), Amazonia (stayed with a tribe of Indians, the Yanomami, in the jungle), Greenland, Iceland... I meet some extraordinary people through my work, with visions for peace and humanity, like the Dalai Lama, Heinrich Harrer and interesting people who shared the same passion, working with ethnic groups. I traveled for most of the next 5 years like this. It was a very interesting job, I gained experience, saw the full scale of life, the ups and the downs.
