I actually started my journey in the media world back in highschool, there I was majoring in film studies. When we began our studies, in the 10th grade, the cinematography teacher gave us a few assignments in still photography, as a beginning, to let us understand what it's like to observe the world through a lens.

I fell in love instantly. But that's not when I started photographing still shots. I didn't have my own camera back then, and being that kid that gives up any venture he started after no more than 30 days, I didn't want to ask my mom to buy me a camera that would serve only as a paper weight not long after the purchase. So I studied film for three years, shot some short movies, and then I was drafted to the army, as most Israelis are. I didn't really like the army, it sucks any creativity out of you. Or at least that was the experience for me.
